Replated dash ash trays. Here's how it works. Send your old ash tray assembled if the face plate does not need to be repainted. IF it needs to be repainted, drill out the 2 rivets that hold the face plate on. Repaint it to match your dash. DO NOT remove the white button or black band. Send the tray and face plate to me and I will install a replated tray using exact replacement rivets. Note, while all rust is removed via acid dipping, any rust pitting of the metal will be visible. And what if we want our original ashtray back? For example mine is pit free, I wouldnt want to get one back replated with pits.
Joe, I do have 1 replated right now that can be sold. I also have a few cores that I can strip and send out. They need to be done in batches to get a reasonable price. When I get about 5 people ready for them I'll send them out. Jason, Yes you could get yours back but it will have to wait until I have 5 or so ready to go to the plater so it normaly would take longer. If you're ready now I suggest sending it to me to get in the next batch. Thanks
