    L.E.D. Lites

Going to make the taillites into L.E.D. units, so far got the materials, now need the time.
    But missing the clear lenses.:af:

I can not even seem to contact these manufacturers of the clear lenses for the riceburners and some domestics.
    :puzzled:

Thanks for any info you might give:Comp:

This would be a very expensive project, like five figures. I'd try to get a spare set and cut out the red part and replace it with Lexan.

I have a spare set I'd part with if you really want them. Are you sure you really want to do this? SACRELIGE!!:jd:

    Still Tryin

Yep I'm still gonna try and make this work.
Already changed them to sequential. Looks great and some people at cruise in's say they remember that the Rivs had them.
    ( yeah right ):spank:

I found a company called Smooth-On that sells liquid plastic products in PA. They said as long as I can make a mold of the lens I can cast a new on with there products. Still sounds like lots of work but for a one shot try I might tackle it that way.:TU:

Yeah, Rivs had sequentials. I've heard that one too.

The one that gets me is that it seems that almost everyone who looks at my car with the hood open says "are the headlites supposed to be pointing up like that?"

Yeah, that way I can look at the airplanes when I drive at night!

    Yep heard that too.

But most people really don't remember the 66-70 Rivs, they always ask who made that car.:spank:

    Buick !!!!!

    What is that, an Oldsmobile?:spank:

Yea, that's why it's got GS emblems on it.

That's why I'm PROUD to show my Riviera, sometimes the reaction you get is worth a million bucks. Especially the chevy guys who say "I didn't know Buick made a Dual Quad":jd:

Mopar guys usually just walk by. Their just jealous 'cuz their Road Runner didn't even come with carpets!

I usually have people looking underneath the hood for mirrors. They cant figure out how the headlights work. I wish I had a dime for all the people who asked me.." Is this front wheel drive?". It really does promote some odd questions
