You will be filling out a card, as you have done in the past, that has your name, car, stats on the car, etc. With over 100 cards to sift through, it becomes pretty hard to figure things out when there is no uniformity. So Im gonna ask you to make my job a little easier. Please write CLEARLY. Guys are not known to have neat handwriting (except for my friend who later came out of the closet), but I want to get your name right. If its hard to pronounce, please help me pronounce it in parentheses. Ditto for your town - is it pronounced Cly-oh or Clee-oh? Another thing that people should very clear about is what year the car is. I cant always tell, especially if its a Vette, and I want to get it right. People come to watch the race, but I have a job too, so if you want some glory (ok, your ego is not THAT big, is it? Your car should be getting the glory!), please make sure you dont leave a detail out. Speaking of details, I am very interested in the pedigree of your car. If its a 455 and not a Stage 1, would you be offended if I ask you to be clear about that? Its more interesting to say its 1 of 232 Stage 1 ragtops from 1970 if its a real one. I have nothing against clones or upgrades, but it would be disingenuous of me to describe a certain significance of a car, only to be misleading the crowd. No one cares if a car started out as a 6-cyl Tempest. The fact that its a replica of something more special gives you all the more reason to beat on it, right? Any other facts and figures would be dandy, but please be honest about it. I know your car is not 1 of 28 FM3 Challenger T/As because they did not keep track of colors on this car. Considering I personally know the guy that runs the T/A registry and he has over 50 FM3 cars on file, its not gonna slip by me. But every car has a story to tell. Please tell me what it is so I can tell the spectators and make this event as pleasurable for them as it is for you. :TU:
You do a great job there, Diego, we need to help you as much as possible. Thanks. :TU: There's always clowns, though, so be careful of hidden humor......... :Brow:
Right on ! Diego is like our own personal PSMCDR "Rain Man". EVERY race, I can always hear folks in the pits commenting on how good a job Diego does announcing. :beer
Uh oh . . . well, you have a 427 hood on your 327 car. Was the 67 also with the wrong hood too? Looks like your car is a 67 with a 65-66 hood? Damn racers!

Yeah, they should paint the side scoops white on one of them so we can tell them apart from ground level.
Help Diego, mines the green one. Hope this helps. Oh yeah its an original green car too. Not a clone green car. I hate clone green cars. Mark
