Resurface these manifolds?

    Can/would you resurface these 455 manifolds? I imagine an engine builder would surface them like they do to remove or true the surface on a head?

    The machine shops locally will just stick them on a belt sander to clean up the surfaces.

    Yes.
    Only have the minimum taken off to provide flat and parallel surface that will seal effectively.

    Belt sander better. I had some done on a milling machine and they ended up cracked.....

    Did mine on my milling machine. No problems since I did them in 2017. Also trued up the heads. No gaskets. No leaks. 71 455.
