Revell Monogram 1970 GSX

I just saw this plastic model GSX. I don't ever remember seeing it before. Has it been out for a while?

I have a new unopened one from the 80’s. Can build stock or custom

 

I think they came out in about 1986.

I still have the one I built when the kits were first issued.

 

Katrina got mine, lol, but she didn't get the rag top.
Those were all over evilbay 20 years ago.

 

If memory serves the original release was molded in yellow. Mine is well over due for a rebuild or replacement.

 

I have recently been trying to locate these, sealed in new condition

 

I have picked up several for my project. I also picked up 2 of the resin convertible bodies. Looking to do a 71 Zone car. I so need to get back to building. With our recent move everything is everywhere.

John these are some I have. Tried to text you pics but I think all I have is your home line number.

 

i definitely need the middle two, and wouldn't mind the Tommy Ivo car as well.

 

I have a 70 GSX molded in Yellow that someone put together. I believe it is complete except for the hood tach. If someone is interested in it, I could look at it tonight.

I built mine about thirty-four years ago; here in Brad's Hall of Fame. Am getting ready to build and paint one to match the current car (see the spray out test).

 

I believe it came out in '87, along with the GN kit... I've got two started, and maybe 4 more... In the early 2000's my "crafty" wife "dragged" me often to Hobby Lobby, where there was often one "Reduced to $4.99..."
