Hey guys, I've been looking for a 350 for my 84 for two years, and I looked everywhere but here at home. Today I found not one but three, all out of 72' Skylarks. My question is, is that year and car a good pick and will it drop in as well. Thanks for any input I can get. p.s. can anyone tell me also what the hp and tq #'s are for that year motoro No:
what carbs do they have 2bbl or 4 bbl? In 72 there a few motors available: 350 2bbl wc code 8.5 comp. 150 hp w/ 265 tq 350 2bbl wc code 8.5 comp. 165 hp w/ 270 tq 350 4bbl wb code 8.5 comp. 175 hp w/ 270 tq 350 4bbl wb code 8.5 comp. 180 hp w/ 275 tq 350 4bbl wb code 8.5 comp. 190 hp w/ 285 tq 350 4bbl wb code 8.5 comp. 195 hp w/ 290 tq It probably depends on what type of car these came from.The higher 190 and 195 hp were probably GS MOTORS BUT,I AM NOT TOTALLY POSITIVE PAT :TU:
