which yard? all the Vero junk yards are on MLK. i usually hang out with the Indian River Auto Salvage guys but it's been ~2 months since i've gotten down there.

good luck. the yards down here don't tend to keep much of the old stuff around.

though there is/was an Olds Delmont(?) in the yard on the south side of the road from IRAS.

you might have better luck at the bigger yards down towards Fort Pierce.

Bob I thought of you when I saw the ride. It was in Mr. Scraps for a day or two months ago, then gone. I caught a glimpse of it in the next yard to the east, just inside the gate.

as Erik says, a 1965. the trim tag was too hard to make out.

the yard still has the Nailhead and they'll let the car+engine go for $1500 or just the car by itself for $1000.

be careful of the engine. the counter guy told me they could turn it over but it had a hole in the block. :Dou: then he got corrected and they told me it had a hole in the pan and they thought it might have thrown a rod. :idea2: buyer beware. you might be able to beat them down on the engine price if you make them pull the oil pan off to see what was doing the hole poking.

the rust on top is mainly surface but the bottom of the rockers and around the rear window doesn't look so good. that's real rust there. there does still look to be a lot of good body panel and parts remaining on the car.

the clamshells over the headlights are there but they didn't work properly. one was 90% closed and the other was 75% open. also only has one stock wheel.
