I would still about kill for front disc rotors for a 68-69 Riviera. If any of those have good rotors that still has enought meat to be turned down, get 'em. We'll work it out later. If you can't make it back, how's about a phone number for the yard? -- Steve
417-364-7203 i don't know when i will make it back he's closed on the same days i'm normally off at work.
Thanks for sharing Hey Paul, Thanks for sharing and including pictures...eye candy for the Buick enthusiast!:TU:
Thats a 1964 Wildcat....I'm pretty sure on that, 63 had a flatter front, hood didn't point out like that...I'm starting to really get a woody for a 66-67 Riv....BAD!:TU:
I know a place that might have those disc brakes I will look monday. As far as that California in the picture what color is the interior and are the door panels in good shape. I let you know about the brakes.
yep, still want rotors Yeah, I called the yard in this thread a couple weeks back. Said he didn't have anything, so I'm still looking. By the way, if you do find rotors, I need them from a 67-69 full-size or Riv, I believe. 70 won't fit. Plus the rotors need to be about 1" thick to turn down again. Whatevere you could do to help would be cool. -- Steve
Well just to tell you I should be getting a timing cover off of a 68 riviera. I know its a 350 4bbl. I never looked at the brakes I dont know why but like I said I will look tomorrow.
Sorry it took so long to get back to you.. No dice on the front disc man I looked at every buick they had the have alot of other gm cars with discs if you know what is universal let me know I will look... I know that junk yard like the back of my hand now.:gt: I cant believe somebody let a 68 California go like that:blast:
i have a really sad story about the 68 GS California when i was a little kid in the late 70's early 80's, my parents lived on a road that was used by camp grounds that hauled canoes up the river. the same car was used to pull a canoe trailer and also had a canoe rack on the roof. this was a gravel road. then the car sat in an empty lot for at least 15 years it was complete. i would ask if it was for sale about once a year. the owner moved somewhere and his mother would always tell me no it's not for sale and she would correct me by informing me it was a California Super Sport Chevelle. al of a sudden the car was gone. then 2 years ago i found it in this salvage yard stripped and no title i found an old insuranc card in the glove box with the same name as the person that used it to haul canoes the owner of the yard told me he sold it to a place in Tulsa Ok. called Goat Farm or Old Goat or something like that, they deal in mostly GTO stuff i think
