I got this lead from my friend in Ft Lauderdal...thought some members would be interested in the cars. U-Pull-It Fort Lauderdale, They are on 441 (SR7) in Davie Fla. ========================================= 57 Buick l 2 door, fairly complete, smacked in the rear 72 Skylark 2 door Early 70's full size convertibles, 2 or 3 75 Regal 2 door These guys seem to have set up an old car only area. They also had a 75 El Camino, a 72 Malibu 2dr, a 66 Cutlass conv, a Volvo 180(?) a 62ish Ply Savoy, and 3 old Stangs. Bobs U-Pick Medley ================================== 63 2 door 64 4 door Both are mid size. forgot the names 76 Regal
If that Cutlass has nice seat belts with the Fisher Carriage logo, a board member needs a full set for a 66 Wildcat...let me know what you find out. Amazing so many convertibles in one yard.....at the same time
If one of you guys get the chance while your at the yard... could you get me pictures of the 75 Regal. I need the side body moldings that run along the front and rear fenders and the door, if the car has them. Thanks! Also the wheel moldings if they are in good shape too. :Brow:
No seatbelts. Or at least only a few and they were trashed. Grabbed the driver side bucket for Ted. Went before I saw the message about trim. Might go back Tuesday. -- Steve
I picked up my rebuilt tranny today and gonna install it tomorrow. Hopefully head down there Wednesday on a test run with the trailer. :Brow:
Ok, went down this morning, had lunch with Steve. We went to the yard before he had to go back to the job and looked around. I went back and got the seats from the 67 Cutlass along with the floor shifter assembly, the steering column and the driver door for a '66 442 I have. The Cutlass has a set of disc brakes on the front-68-72 style. And with a fresh rebuild on the trans, my pickup got 18mpg traveling around 75-80 most of the way. The "72" Skylark is really a '70. Nice straight rear bumper core. The rest is boned hard. There is no '75 Regal but a '75 Elcamino. A '72 LeSabre convertible and a '75 LeSabre convertible that had the ghetto package interior. Green '55 Special 2dr sedan. Others are '69 Mustang,'68 Mustang,71 Dodge Dart 4dr,'60 Plymouth Belvedere 4dr, '62 Impala 4dr sedan, '68 Thunderbird, '84 Corvette, pair of '69 Chevy 4drs- one is burnt inside, '71 Malibu 4dr hardtop.
George, thanks for thinking of me on the seat belts. If any one is heading back to that Cutlass i could use the rear seat arm rest base courtesy light assemblies for my convertible if they are in good shape.
George is the 76 Regal at Bob's a two door if it is, is the drivers front fender good. I am looking for a nice one. Thanks Bill.
I have a 75 regal and I am looking for the trunk lock cover and the door rubber window wipers. I have no idea if the 76 has a trunk lock cover or the rubber will fit. If anybody knows? Terry
