I know it's not a Buick but, my neighbors buddy found this G.T.O in the Salvage pool in northern Ohio. People thought it was a LeMans because the Endura bumper was replaced with a chrome bumper (the story is much more involved then this) anyway he found out it was a dealership drag car. Owned by Ray Faro Pontiac, A friend of mine worked at the dealership in the 60's and 70's and helped him with some missing history. The car is fully restored Ram air V check it out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-CkMVlSnHL4 View attachment 91209
I recently found a '72 GTO X code(455 H.O.) in a north Ga. junkyard. That is quite a rare car. It's amazing that these super rare cars are still out there. It pays to check them out, especially in the case of this super rare Ram Air V GTO.What a find!!
Keith, I see your from Troy, I stay at the Red Roof on Rochester during Woodward Dream Cruise, great event.
Ray Faro ,is now Morris Pont, cad,Gmc in North Ridgeville .Same spot same building.Remember that car sitting in the service dept when I was 7 years old.I have merged my muscle car disorder to pontiac also ,just picked up a 70 455 ram air 4 spd GTO.Really are cool cars.Joe:3gears:
Joe I have always been a Pontiac Buick Guy they are a nice paired fit. In Canada all GM Dealerships are always paired Chev/Olds and Pontiac/ Buick no standalone frranchises.Maybe that has something to do with my affliction.
