secondary wot adjustment

    I know that the Cliff Ruggles book shows to adjust the secondary throttle butterflies at an exact 90* angle at wot. But if you look at the secondary venturi shape, it angles forward towards the bottom. I was wondering if flow would increase if the butterflies were adjusted so that they would actually go past 90* at wot so that they would be more in line with the venturi shape? Any body ever play with this on a flow bench, dyno, or at the track? :Comp: Just wondering...

    Some racers spend quite a bit of time tuning in that area. On some intakes it will help to be slightly over or under center. What I've found here is that exactly 90 degrees with the throttle plates is the best place to be for most set-ups.....Cliff
