Hello everyone. Unfortunately, I sm forced to sell my most prized possesion: my 1970 Buick Skylark :ball: . I am the 3rd owner of this beautiful example of american muscle. This car is by no means a show car, but it is a very nice everyday driver. I purchased this vehicle back in Feb. 2005 from an older man in New Hampshire. My father and I drove for 10 hours up there from Columbus, Ohio to check out the vehicle. Upon arrival, I fell in love with the car immediately. It was a fine example of what I wanted for american muscle. Back then, she was equipped with the stock 2-bbl carb. and intake (which i still have), as well as a single exhaust system. Since then, I have upgraded to a 750 Edelbrock Carb. w/ elec. choke as well as a 4-bbl intake which i purchased earlier this year from a private owner here on Ebay. Also, it now has a true dual exhaust system with an "h" crossover which spills into 2 Flowmaster super 40 series mufflers. This car has a great sound from these things which i honestly didn't expect. The tires were recently replaced about 100 miles ago with road huggers, not the tires in the pics. The mag wheels come with the car which could use a re-chrome. I believe the paint to be unoriginal because it is starting to flake up on the passenger door revealing a darker blue underneath (amateur paintjob?). It also could probably use a new set of shocks, but not absolutely needed. The car does not have a Posi rear-end as I found out after putting the exhaust and carb onto it. These small upgrades really woke it up, but I believe headers, a nice cam, and a posi rear with higher gears would definitely raise the beast under the hood. I haven't done anything else to the car other than the carb, intake, exhaust, and tires. Inside, the most obvious thing wrong is the drivers side of the bench. I bought it with the duct tape covering the seat and never got the funds together to repair it. The headliner is in great condition, just needs cleaned a bit. The carpeting could use a replacement as well as in the rear above the back seating where the speakers would be. The radio doesn't work, and all of the gauges however do. NOW for the nasty....Rust has started up on the wheel wells under the quarter panels. Not bad on the drivers side, but the passenger side needs attention. The drivers side quarter is bubbling up a bit on the bottom. On the vinyl cover towards the rear of the car on the right side, it needs some attention. The paint is starting to show how amateur of a job it was as well, showing signs of fading. This car, after taking care of the minimal rust issues and a repaint, along with interior imperfections dealt with, as well as some more added to the motor, drivetrain, and rear-end, would make an awesome car. This car is perfect for a GS clone. Just needs some TLC. I am selling this car because I need the funds to pay for college. She made it no problem from New Hampshire all the way to Columbus, Ohio (with the exception of the gas cost hehe). I get looks everytime i drive this car and have received many a compliment on it at local cruise ins and stoplights.
I wanted to post this here first to see if it would sell to a fellow Buick nut.
My asking price will be $3,500 and I must have cash...not trades please. I will post some pics later as I first need to take them. Car is located in Grove City, Ohio

Here are a few more pics of the car. If you would like to see any specific spots, let me know. Also, I forgot to mention two things about the car. First, the radio does not work. Also, the car has 91,4xx miles and comes with the "Road Hugger" tires. I say "xx" because i will still be driving the car a little bit around town until it is sold.

Looks like a great car, but a little too far away for me. I'll have to defer to next in line.

Hello everyone. My car did not sell on E-bay, so unfortunately, school is out of the question this quarter. However, I still would like to have the funds for next quarter, so if anyone was still interested in the car, I will sell it now for $3000. Thanks guys.
