I have a th400 behind a 455 on my 72 skylark. The problem I am having is when I am on the highway going about 3000 RPM in 3rd gear and I give it a light to moderate amount of gas it kicks down in to 2nd gear when I don't want it to and puts it an RPM (4000 or so) where there seems to be very little power. I am already planning on putting in a B & M shift kit (have it ordered) will that effect at what point it shifts from 3rd to second or is there something else to adjust?
