Any idea where to buy or who makes/ has the best boots for the 4 speed consoles ? Thanks.

There's an upper boot & lower boot for cars with the consolette or mini console. I get mine from CARS.

Soffseal makes them. You can buy direct or from a reseller.

The consolette boot sucks. There is only one manufacturer- Metro and are completely incorrect. Evereyone sells the same one even Soffseal. Too thick so the trim ring and retaining ring needs to be left off. Too shiny also. The original looks completely different and is very thin where the trim rings fit. Unfortunately, that is the only consolette boot available so its that or nothing

I purchased both boots from CARS in October for the 68 I'm working on. They look identical to the ones I puchased 20 years ago for my 70. I haven't tried installing or fitting them yet. The 70 has had 70,000+ miles put on it with the shifter being removed several times for trans & engine changes. Both have held up very well and look as good now as they did when new. Yes the upper boot is a bit shiny and might be a bit off (turned) where the shifter goes through but it's better than not having a boot at all.

This is the one you're looking for Marcel. Google the part number RP33Z and it will come up with a few places to buy it from. RP33Z.jpg
