I plan to replace the original ST400 in my '64 Wildcat with a '65 ST400 switch pitch transmission. As you may know, the '64 has a P-R-N-D-L shift pattern and the '65 has P-R-N-D-L2-L1 pattern. I believe that the floor shifter throw is the same for both but the spacing between the gears is different. Can anyone who has done this swap tell me if I have to make any changes to the '64 floor shifter?
