couple extra oil pan pics .
I told steve I would post up a couple . the newer '75ish pan was not pictured in original ad info . dif pan I was saving - solid , nice inside . the '69 pan has a little crusty-rusty on outside but solid and inside pic/flash coloring makes it look worse than it really is . a couple close ups of in n out on the 69 pan after I hit it quick with wire wheel ( seems solid , a little pitting ) . and one outside pic of the newer pan also ( blue-green paint ) .

Del, can you post pics of all 350 steel shim head gaskets please, interested.

    marty - here's a couple pics and info .
I flipped 'em so you could see both sides . the one on the right is just the extra regular material head gasket , others are the steel .
    top to bottom :
    Victor #3364BS ( no GM number )
    McCord #MC6680 - GM number #1374869
    McCord #MC6680 - GM number #1366796
all 3 seem to match up as far as bore size and hole placement .

Going to pass on the head gaskets Del, they seem to be different than the ones I've been using, Victor 3867BS. Maybe they're for a 340?

marty : ding ding ding - winner winner chicken dinner !
they had an old tag on them that said 350 and they fit on a 350 block ok so I thought sure , must be .
went to work and started cross checking numbers and superceding etc - yep , those numbers all supercede up to a '66 340 .
and i'll fix original ad info .

Are the steel nailhead headgaskets for a 401? if so, I'll take them - Please PM me with shipping to 06119 and how you'd like to get paid.

  13. DEADMANSCURVE

DEADMANSCURVE my first word : truck

    maybe not a 401 - gm#1165307 , victor#1079BS
i'll try crossing those numbers later to make sure but when I held them up to a 401 block all the holes/dowels seemed to match up ok BUT the gasket bore seemed a little smaller than it should seem . it kinda overlapped into block bore . gasket bore size seemed to be about 4.135 with a quick caliper measure .
edit : work computer no help . yahoo searched the victor number = 1953 nailhead looks like . GM # did not seem to come up .

    Del,
If you still have the distributor + parts, can you do $165 shipped? If so, I'll take it.
    If not, free bump.
    Thanks, Doug

doug - finally got a chance to check that - been plowing snow on and off for a couple days .
don't know if I want to take quite that big of a bath . maybe $180 shipped if I can use a postal med flat rate box ( fits fine - room for packing ) and not the Mallory box . few bucks more that way . del
