I'm sure this is going to sound dumb to most that bother to open this note. I haven't used the board much for a long while. And perhaps for a year or more the only way I could log in was to go back to my email and retrieve one that said someone responded to one of my posts. Bottom line, I don't remember my password. I've looked around the site but perhaps it's like at the grocery store when you're looking for something that is right in front of you and can't find it. I have recently had that problem with spice for chilli. They don't put it with spices, it's hidden in the aisle with the pasta on the top shelf. Having said all that, and rambled on just for fun. How do I get a new password? I must be still valid on here or I couldn't post this note. I'm just tired of backtracking to the links on old emails to get on. Thanks.
Mike, On the button bar in the header, far left.. usercp- click it then select Edit profile Select edit email and password.. JW
Jim, I tried that but you need to know your old password to change it. Am I missing something? I feel sort of stupid.
Don't feel stupid. I think that many of us have been there. You should have seen when I set up this computer right after my ex left. I wanted some security so I put a password on it for the first time. I didn't get back on the computer for a couple weeks and had forgotten that I even had password protected it. I spent two evenings guessing at what my password was before I got it right!!
