    Willy New guy!

Well I finally got around to grinding off all the filler on the quarters of the wife 71 and I'm gonna replace the quarters. Seems the lower part behind the wheels had about 1/4 inch of filler :eek2: Since no one seems to make repops and there's no way I can afford NOS if I could find some, what's the best course of action to take? Should I use coupe quarters and cut the old ones off about an inch from the top of the body line? Is there any real good way to do these? The old ones had been hit before and had quite a bit of rust so finxing the originals is not really feasible at this point. If anyone has any pics of what they did that would be great. I'll probably (not "prolly" :pp ) have them done by my uncle who's a pro since this might be a little too much for me. Thanks for the input.

    GStage1 Always looking for parts!

Have an article on our site below. Get the skins from www.tabcobodyparts.com I use the coupe versions and make the splice about 2-3" below the peak line.
