    Good morning Chris,

I am not sure if you still have them, but I if so, could you tell if one the steering columns fit a 72 skylark. I assume they are column shift non-tilt which is okay and color doesn't matter. Shipping to 30084. Thanks.

I don't know what the application is for the wheel cylinders. They were in with a parts lot from two 72 skylark convertibles but appear to be unused. Let me get another look at the 72 chrome trim and I'll get back to you.

72 Hood trim looks to have alot of pitting on edges throughout. Nice and straight, but pitted.

    Good morning,

I was wondering if you still had the steering columns?

I'm hoping that it's the top portion...as my son and I are looking for the following pieces:

    -the safety clip
    -the steering wheel nut
    -the lock plate cover
    -the lock plate itself
    -the lock plate retaining clip
-the proper cancelling cam that has the slot for the horn contact pin.

My son bought the car with a Grant wheel on it.
We are trying to get it ready for inspection, so he can drive it before summer is over.
When we tried the horn...it didn't work, and thought it was maybe just the wire contact itself.
Once the old owner left with his money, we parked it, and waited a few days before we started writing stuff down that it needed.
Well, when we pulled the Grant horn button off, we found that it was just the Grant hub itself that was holding the steering wheel onto the column...nothing else.
Litterly grabbing the wheel, and with a quick little jerk, the entire wheel, and hub was in my hand...that when we both seen that everything inside the column was missing.

We ordered a new steering wheel with the install hardware from "The Parts Place", along with a new cancel cam...but it never included anything we were really looking for...

So, after my little story, I hope it is you who is going to say, "Yes, I have those parts, and I will sell them to you."

    Have a great day.
