Way to go Mike!! I just got my latest 2 wheel project today, rolled in a 1967 Triumph TR6R hardtail chopper, needs work but the price was right, I traded a 9" over Paughco narrow springer front end I had for it! I'm going to build it as an old school Bobber!
a good snowmobile suit works great, but i usually just put on my carharts, my good leather jacket, gloves with gauntlets, and maybe a helmet if it is real cold. as long as the honda starts and the roads are clear i ride all years round. i figure i have to pay for the license tag for the whole year, why not use it.:TU:
DUDE! NOT EVEN FAIR! THATS MY DREAM BIKE! sweet deal man. i always like guys that thinks of sporty's as more than just a girls bike. now do us proud and show those big bike dorks how the sportster handles its prey!! my buddy has a 1200 sportty that is just full on custom. buell top end, cams, screaming eagle ignitions, vance and hines pipes, progressive shocks.....he rides like anutcase but he keeps up with sportbikes! you will soon find out that the 1200 sporty will smoke any HD on the road. its the equievilent to a BUICK! have fun with it and keep us posted. only thing i can recomend off hand for it is those progressive rear shocks, thats the brand BTW. they make em ride sooooooooo smooth!
