Does anyone know what the correct spark plug gap is for a 1972 Buick Skylark 350. She has "73" on the block.
    Thanks

32-35 for stock ignition. When I installed the MSD the directions told me to open them up to 60.

60! Wow! The plugs I bought are pre set at 40. Thanks :TU:

In 1972, the correct gap is .040 FOR THE POINT IGNITION. Plug gap depends on the type of ignition system, and cylinder pressure. More cylinder pressure, and less ignition requires a smaller gap. If your engine is not stock, the stock specs go right out the window. You didn't give enough information in your first post to answer your question.

She is a completely stock 1972 Skylark Custom 350 sb, with points ignition.
    Thanks.

.040 then. Do you own a copy of the 1972 Buick Chassis manual? How about the owners manual? spark plug gap is in both.
