You did write a lot of info, but it would be easier if we had flow numbers on the heads. And you would get better responses if you started a new thread with that question in the Big Block Street strip section. Is this engine running yet? If so,I'm curious about you using the Chevy lifters. It is my understanding even though they look identical, the oil hole is in a different spot and won't properly send oil where it needs to go. This will be especially true by blocking off the oiling provisions for the 430 style rockers and oiling the rockers through the push rods. I'm not totally sure about this,if someone that knows for sure can chime in I would like to know the answer also.

I believe that the difference in Buick and Chevy lifters is in the depth of the push rod cup of the lifter plunger. I remember guys using the Chevy lifter because of the lack of quality Buick lifters. I think the difference was something like .050 or so.

Yes the depth of the pushrod cup is different. Im also running adjustable 5/16 pushrods from TA. Got the lifter recommendation from scott brown who did the cam. We went with a hyd cam and solid chevy lifters, because I had already valve springs set up for a hyd cam, this way I was able to use the existing dual valve springs with 325 open press.
Sorry no flow numbers for the heads. Yes engine is running already. Ive built the engine first with a TA413, then went with a scott brown one. We will see at the track this year what power its making, not able to go on a dyno.

Good to know about the lifters, going to look at using Chevy lifters for my 300 build after the wheather breaks.Chevy has a lot more options that could help me get over some obstacles with some of the crazy crap that I'm planning, which I'll keep everyone posted on my progess after I start the project.
