I have a pair of sport mirrors off of an 80's GM vehicle. They can be used for Buicks if the mirror bases are changed out or modified to fit. I need some misc. items for my Buick Skylark GS.~~~~~~~~~~~ray:

How can you modify the 80's sport mirrors, i just got a set of those today and found them looking a little weird, i have a 430 alt bracket i think, if you need it just pay the shipping and its yours, first let me confirm if it fits your 455 ill try to take some pics on saturday...thanks
When I did my modification I used a table top belt sander to evenly grind down a 1/4" off of the outerside of the mirror base. I did my mirrors with them painted and it sanded down like a piece of wood. When you mount the mirrors before sanding them you can get a good ideal of how much material is needed to make them sit correctly.
