Okay, I'm stumped. On the stock sport steering wheel, how does the horn honk if the horn button isn't spring loaded. I've bought a new kit but it's no different than the stock one. What have I missed?
From my understanding of trying to install one, The horn button is press fit onto a metal ring that is spring loaded. When you press the horn button, the metal contacts the wheel completely got the circuit to ground and turns the horn on. here is my thread asking how to install that metal ring assembly. Apparently I had one for a corvette that the center diameter hole was smaller and shorted on the steering wheel nut.
