If he doesn't, I do. I'll try to scan and post it tonight

However, I'm on dial up, so if someone with a faster connection has it and will post it, that'll save me from downloading all night.

I'll re-check this forum tonight, and post it if no one else has volunteered

I'm a little concerned about that statement "HAVE THAT EXCITING ROMANTIC '69' LOOK GIRLS GO FOR." :jd: :Brow: Sounds a little racy for this family oriented board.

    That '69 look !!!!

Hey,I was just starting college then!!! Hair was IN !! I mean long hair.As far as the suave '69 look in the commercial that was to be a "chick magnet",Naw,it really wasn't but there was alot of PUFFIN in those days so with the right light everything looked good!!!
My 70 GS stg1,was treated to Kenne-Bell speed products in the early years(1970-1978)and they were the Buick gurus.
I remembered more than once walking away with the bracket prize money while everybody else scratched their head and said "A Buick?!!?!!??.

I don't know about the late 70s, but I remember being on hold all day with Kenne-Bell in the early 80s. Nothing against Kenne-Bell; there would be NO Buick performance today without them. But thank heavens for the relative plethora of Buick vendors we have today. Kuddos to all of ya!

Alan, being an old 69 lover, the first GS I owned was a 69, this is one of the best articles I have seen. I have an original copy of this. Do you have the next one on the SS/JA that they talk about at the end of this one? I have looked for Speed Age for the article and have never found it. Other good 69 articles are "Better Built Mover", from june 69 Hot Rod and "How To: Build a 12-Second Street Buick", not sure what mag it is from. Both are detail articles on making a 69 perform. Thanks for posting the article, and if you do not have the other two let me know. Bill Sangster.
