I'm thinking about trying stagger jetting on my q-jet. Which side is richer?
I currently have 77's on both sides (c 118 cam, B4B, iron manifolds, runs mid 12's, altitude 220 ft.)

Why do you think you need to? Do you have evidence of unequal mixture distribution during the engine speeds where the carb's main circuit is active?

I think you'd be better off to "fix" the manifold's distribution than to stagger jet the carb.

I'm willing to learn something new--I was under the impression that stagger jetting was only useful on single-plane manifolds that had a large open plenum, or on dual-plane manifolds that had carb spacers or had the center divider cut out, producing a large plenum. Am I misinformed?

    Stagger jetting

I have come across a few GS members at the nationals events who used stagger jetting with their B4B manifolds. They said it was due to the larger plenum on the low plane or shorter plenum on the high plane. One GS member used an oxygen sensor and got his mixture perfect with an .002" different jet size left and right. I don't remember his name, but he had a white GS with a green GSX stripping at BG 2005. (The info he gave me went through the laundry in my shirt pocket.) If anyone knows his name, let me know.

My 67 has no room for spacers thicker than 1/4"
