Hello All , I got to spend some time in the garage yesterday looking over the 61 Lesabre . Awesome car so far ! weather stripping soft as a babys butt. All pans are solid . 1 rust hole at the bottom of driver lower fender about the size of a pencil eraser . Wasn't able to get it started , installed new points, button, cap still no fire to the plugs. Thinking it may need a coil . Body is straight as a gun barrel , factory paint , perfect glass with the exception of the driver wing window doesn't want to work , turn handle with no results ! I was wondering how to remove the stainless under the body line that runs from front to back . It has screws on each end of doors . how is it attached between those screws ? :idea2:

Should be nylon clips that will snap off or butterfly clip that turn and release.

I bought these to help take the trim off my '61, but I haven't actually done it yet.
