DON'T BUY PEPSI IN THE NEW CAN!
Don't buy Pepsi in the new can. Pepsi has a new "patriotic" can coming out with pictures of the Empire State Building, and the Pledge of Allegiance on them.
However, Pepsi left out two little words on the pledge, "Under God." Pepsi said they didn't want to offend anyone. In that case, we don't want to offend anyone at the Pepsi corporate office, either. So if we don't buy any Pepsi product, they will not be offended when they don't receive our money that has the words "In God We Trust" on it.

HOW FAST CAN YOU FORWARD THIS ONE ON?

I went to send them an email of disappointment and found this false rumor report.

Must have been started by Coca Cola

Actually, Dr. Pepper used only a few words of the Pledge on a planned can in 2001, I believe it says, on the Snopes site. Don't think they ever marketed it though.

    It was marketed in 2002.

    It said "One Nation...Indivisible"

It was used not to disclude Under God,but used to show that when you basically tick us off,we are undivisible.

I am a huge Dr pepper drinker, and after I read that,it took me a few minutes to understand what they meant.

In fact, there is a link to it from the page that I linked above.

It's a shame that religion is now used as an advertising gimmick, it's even more of a shame when people get upset over it not being used as an advertising gimmick.

    Yea

Actually the original Pledge didn't contain the words either. I don't think it made it any less patriotic but maybe a little less offensive to some. Everyone should have the same feeling of equality. You shouldn't have to feel tolerated because you have different opinions.
