so having no idea what this was till the other day I saw one on "E&)*(" and thought i had to have one. It would look killer on my 70 skylark but..... Is a complete one really worth 400.00? do they breathe OK? I was going to get a stock type dual snorkel but they are 200.00 in good shape. thnx

there are originals, and there are repros from what I've seen one in great condition they both seem to be going for $400-$500 complete (the top part, base, knob, and the BUICK lettering and emblem on them).

I bought just the top part from a V8Buick member for about $180 but it is missing the emblem, and has some broken parts.

I thought someone said they flow slightly better than the snorkel type, but I could be wrong.
However, probally one of the most Bad A$$ air cleaners out there! pop the hood and no one will ask if it's a Chebby! I know i bought mine for the WOW factor once it's cleaned up.

these are from the seller, hasn't arrived yet. You can see the missing emblem, and the chips in the openings.

They were a 'one year only' Buick part, and came stock on '67 GS 400s, or '67 Riviera GS 430 autos. Complete units in 'like new' condition, with a proper base, original chrome knob, and pristine emblems will easily fetch $400+, as they are just not that easy to find.
