Can anyone help me out with a title search? Years ago, I was able to pull up a history of my GSX's titles from the state. I received copies of microfished titles from when the car was titled from GM to it's first dealer, right up until the latest title. Recently, I tried to contact the Georgia DMV and they said there is no title history available for my 1969 GS400, or any car older than 5 years old? Anyone looked into this lately?
Hello Brian, Long time no see or talk, hope the family is well................ Ga. DMV told you correct, they do not do title searches on older vehicles. Something to do with "cutbacks" or "shortage of man power" to spend on the research. Even the fee they were charging did not warrant the time involved. They stop several years ago. One of those "turn of the century" GA. state decisions. ou:
