    Andy:

What's that "Muscle car Eliminator Class? Hadn't heard of that before. What's allowed/not allowed? Same as old Stock Eliminator? Or real cars that can still be driven.

From What I understand it's for Muscle Cars that do not fall into the Factory Stock or Factory appearing classes. Basically muscle cars with minor mods.

My brother is just trying out his roadrunner for the first time and not really into the factory Stock or Factory Appearing thing.. (Maybe I can change his mind). He built it kinda like a vintage 70's street machine. Meaning vintage American Torque Thrusts, vintage Stewart Warner and Sun Gauges, Hurst 4spd with a reverse lockout stick and line loc. Also he is running a stock looking (manifolds and all) 493 ci 6 pack with a stock air grabber steel hood. Anyway, this class gives him someplace to run.

    Andy:

You just described 90% of the 442's and Hurst Olds that my friends have. What's the venue for this class, ladder/handicapped bracket? or heads up 2/3 match races like Pure Stock?

I won't bother to bring up again how many times I've tried to find a way to get something like your friends' car in a heads up 2/3 venue.

Sounds like fun. Anything like that in the February to March time frame down there?

It's bracket racing which okay with him and me. At least it's a day without ricers. Gives my brother a chance to race. I know of no other race like down here. This is some thing new that Bill "Gonzo" Gannon is trying down here. Hopefully the response will be good enough that he can make it a regular event. here is a picture of the roadrunner.
