This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. This policy will remain in effect indefinitely, as it has completely eliminated the bad actors from our site, who would spam and hack it, once they gained access. Thanks JW

  3. Hi Guys, Currently, the security certificate for the board has expired.. this has nothing to do with any type of hack, and you are not at any risk by clicking thru the security warning screens. Mike Bucy, our tech admin, is currently out of town and does not have the required information with him to update the SSL certificate. He will return on Weds, and this issue should be resolve shortly thereafter. Again, there is no security breach, or cause for users to be concerned about visiting or using V8Buick.com. Thanks JW

Every post I read seems to state that are Buicks can,t get down the track with out a big ele. fuel pump & 1/2" fuel lines . The "stock appearing" cars have mods to the heads ,valve train ,etc & must be close to 450 + hp for shure , right? Do the cars use larger fuel lines & ele pumps ? or do they have to run the stock type lines & pumps?

    Thanks

You can go a looooong way with 3/8th fuel line and a good fuel pump. There are aftermarket mechanical pumps that support 500+HP too. I figure I'm running around 450HP (maybe some day I'll hit a dyno) with 3/8th fuel line feeding a 5/16th(!) fuel pump. Though I do think I'm getting near or at the limit of the pump.
