has anyone ever done a dyno test on a stock stage 1,i know they have done them on olds but i would love to see what a stock stage 1 is really putting out.dennis manner said it was more towards the 400 range.
Yes they did in a mag within the last year . I think it was MCE. And no DM said 376hp as I recall at about 5K rpms. He showed us the actual dyno curve tape at Flint in 2003.
S1 Dyno It was Lynden Hughes' motor ('70 GSX S1) and Dan Jensen did the dynoing at Pierce Race Engines in Lansing MI. It made mid 380's with a near duplicate of the factory tq rating. It was back about six issues ago in MCE. The motor performed very well. Mark
