What I have been attempting is to show @cole, that I need hinge to replace flat side from bench seat version.. In theory the passenger side hinge should replicate true bucket seat - providing it is a strato bench seat.. What I did was salvage same side ( latch side) and reshape it as a bucket seat would have had. aAlbeit a left side - right side.. Comparatively easy when you consider I have been trying for two days to post and 6-7 attempts on top of that
Upon assembly modified hinge sat about 1/2 off seat base. Only reason bolt was able to pull hinge down was that it had long threaded section and tip was narrow
Lots of shade variation ,I know. Then came test. Seat base is OG driver 68 gs rag. And you could tell cause seat springs are weak..And release side hinge had enough slop in it to allow flex
