This car was originally a 1972 Buick GS, but has been built to resemble a 1970 Stage 1 Pro Street/Race Car. The car was built by several board members. Dave Falley and Mike Garrison built the chassis and painted it, then Scott Henderson bought it and finished it. Here is the original thread on the car with more information and pics of it being built: http://www.v8buick.com/index.php?threads/72-gs-prostreet-race-project.158789/ The rear frame and differential were narrowed and rear wheel tubs installed. It currently has a mild Buick 455 motor in it, but it needs to be inspected and possibly rebuilt as it has a slight knock at 2500/up rpm’s. I bought it this way as I was planning on putting a hi horsepower Buick Stage 2 motor in it, but a tragic death in my family has changed my plans so I decided it would be best to sell the car. It can be purchased as is or as a roller if you have your own engine/trans combo. Here are some details: Buick 455 that needs to be inspected and possibly rebuilt, or replaced with your own engine TH 350 trans with reverse manual valve body, 3000 stall torque converter, and trans brake 12 bolt posi/spool with 4.56 gears Hurst pistol-grip quarter stick shifter cowl hood fiberglass deck lid with custom rear spoiler Weld Dragstars with Mickey Thompson sportsman tires aluminum radiator GSCA Mickey Thompson super scavenger headers aluminized 3" X- system, 40 series Flowmasters with polished stainless tailpipes re-chromed front and rear bumpers new 1970 GS grille and all new emblems custom aluminum dash new door panels and carpet racing seats with RCI 5 point harnesses new weather-stripping 10 gallon RCI fuel cell mechanical stage 1 fuel pump new windshield and nice tinted glass less than 50 miles on since completion clear Texas title This is a very nice, solid, rust free car. Beautiful Car !!!! My very first 1971 GS455 was that color with a black vinyl top. Would have loved to own this one if I was in the position to buy right now. Very sharp and well built , good luck with the sale looks like an awesome deal.
