I have heard that a stripped Q-jet fuel inlet can be repaired with a sleeve or a large heli-coil. Can any one tell me WHO offers this service?

    Thanks, Jim

Hey Jim.Try NAPA with these part #`s 2-76,2-82 or 2-90A.
Not sure which one you need.Good luck.Later,Tony.

    Thanks Tony.

The inlet is a little far gone for a NAPA fitting. It will likely need honed and sleeved.

    Tony,
The NAPA fittings have oversized threads with leading edges to tap new coarse threads as it's installed. Worth a try & pretty reasonable. I bought one last year for a spare carb. I was working on. Ended up not needing it.
