My 67' skylark sport coupe is a " plain Jane " I want to spice it up....I am doing a frame off and am seriously considering a few mods...What do you guys think.....? It is a factory TT car, Ivory top and bottom. I am thinking of losing the hood spear and going with the GS scoops. Also the GS grille ( if I can find one ) and GS wheel well trim....Of course losing the skirts and body chrome. As for color....I am really liking either a Triple black, or Apple red. If I go red, How about the Black vinyl top? I have the interior redone in black now ( originally Saddle and gold ). Wheels I have on it now are the chrome 14" rallys, but thinking of some 16" Torque thrust II's. Opinions please guys........! Thanks, Brent
match up the colors. you should consider the color combination so it wouldn't look sloppy. 16" Torque thrust II's are fine unless you still have some choices.
Triple black sounds like the plan to me. GS conversion is always a better look. I would probably just opt for 15" Buick Rallys to keep the original look of the GS. If its a 340 then that would be an ideal year to clone since they actually made some 340 GS's in '67. Just my $.02
