i want to get a th 350 for my skylark which has a 300 4bbl. i will eventually be putting a 455/th400 in it but that is a couple of years off. my question is what have people done for a detent (kick down) cable? the cars that came w/ a th 350 had it go right to the gas pedal and i know cars had it go right to the carb. the stock carter doesn't have a provision for a stud to mount to it for a cable. i want it to look as nice as possible, any suggestions will help. thanks, paul c.
