i'm into my resto of a nice solid 67 gs grille. removed all of the metal trim safely without any damage (whew!) and i even was able to use a heat gun to straighten out 1 dip on the top rail and 1 of the plastic studs on the backside. 3 stress cracks i have to fill/epoxy , sand and i'll be ready for paint. now my problem.......the mounting studs that hold the center horizontal trim piece with the red stripe are rusted to virtually nothing and i need to find something to replace them. i'd settle for screws in place of the studs if i can find something that'll work. any clues would be greatly appreciated, thanks guys, rooster.
