I finally had enough aggravation with leaky stock sheet metal valve covers a few years ago, so I purchased these valve covers new from TA Performance with the oil fill and breather holes machined in the “stock with power brakes” positions. In an effort to make them look similar to sheet metal covers I had my favorite metal polisher remove the TA logos (sorry Mike, Sheri and Mike, Jr) and polish the covers to a smooth finish. I originally painted them with Buick red engine paint and used them on my SBB for a few leak-free years. I removed them when I retired the SBB last year and had them powder coated a beautiful gloss red. They looked so good and performed so well that I had the same thing done to my new TA BBB valve covers. These valve covers are in excellent condition with no cracks, gouges or any other signs of damage or wear and tear. Includes stock-type hold down fasteners and wire loom posts, new TA breather grommet and GM-accessory (I think) oil fill cap. $150 plus shipping. Personal check or USPS money order, please.
