i guess my stage 2 455 is going to stay on the engine stand for a while, This 350 is going to be a lot of fun to drive with new intake/cam and a 4 speed :Brow:
is there going to be one injector/ nitrous boss for both runners? or is the boss in the picture for something else??
thats what I was thinking but it looked like it wasnt quite in the right place or big enough for a bolt that doesnt go into the port. looks more like the bosses you see on all the new manifolds for nitrous or injectors... but I guess when we see a full picture we will really know right?... any word on when a full picture will be posted???
Our goal is to have the prototype intake fully machined to bring with us to the GS Nationals to display.
Mike just send me the first set of heads and intake and I will get the 350 together with flat tops to try it out! Oh send me some .030 flat tops also!
Mischievious quick readings of posts . . . (Re: TA Perf SP-1 & Alum Head for the 350) Dear fans of Buick V-8 small blocks and of course wagons . . . . . :TU: . . . . . Hmm, . . . . Does that mean that the infamous T/A-wagon might be a victim of downsizing . . . . . :3gears:. . . . I didn't think so!!! . . . . . Cheers, Edouard :beer
Why? The Q-jet opening gives you the best flexibility. All the newer intakes are drilled and tapped for both bolt patterns. With the Q-jet opening, all you need to do is use the thin plate to square off the bore and use a Holley. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/edl-2732/overview/ If you have a Holley opening, the adapter to use a Q-jet is 3/4" tall possible compromising hood clearance. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/edl-2697/overview/ My SP1 has the Q-jet opening. I can change carburetors in 15 minutes, and they both fit under the hood.
