New mechanic trying to take my carb off to get rebuilt, taking it off and bringing it to their shop of course will save money but I need a little guidance. I know to take off the big fuel line in the middle of the carb and all the hoses which seem to be on there tight, the linkage seem a little difficult need a little help there much appreciated and thanks here’s some pictures the yellow arrow is show a screw I’m assuming I unscrew to release the linkage

That linkage should all stay on. Just below your arrow you will see where the throttle cable attaches. It's a ball pivot that the cable pushes on to. Carefully pull the cable off.

And do I just pull it out or push it through the little hole it sits in

It's the throttle cable you need to pull off. It's above you last arrow pic. It's the cable that comes from the fire wall and has a mounting bracket on the intake.

The actual choke thermostat is different as well the rod length.

So I got the carb rebuilt and I put it back on but got some questions/issues
1.) some of the gasket is showing but no gas leaks anywhere so just checking that that’s ok! I lined up all 4 screws with gasket lined up but some of the gasket shows
2.)it won’t kick down into low steady it’s staying on high rev and won’t kick down. It drives way faster and powerful but I think that’s a lot due to the carb not being tuned
3.)I hear the carb loudly like a hissing sound get quieter of course when hood closed and air filter on but carb is making that hissing sucking sound
4.) when I drove it around the block and parked it back home it shuttered off when ignition was turned off
5.) when off after test drive I can hear squealing pressure in the carb
    Let me
Know how I can resolve these thank you greatly I know once tuned the rebuilt
    Carb will be running great
