I might be in for the 26th. I just picked up a new tow vehicle (thanks to Jim Bowman) and I have to get the hitch figured out. Can't use old hitch cause new truck is higher off the ground. Lots of stuff going on right now and hardly a moment to work on it. Gotta get rid of my old tow vehicle. Anyone want a 1979 F-350 Super Cab? It's a good old reliable tow vehicle. Will be listing it on Craigslist soon.
I have figured out the way to go to a test and tune at Milan. I was the first in line @2:45, gates opened at 3:30, track opened at 4pm, made the first pass and broke the cross gear drive in the tach at the finish line! No more tach for the day. It is real hard to drive a 4 speed car with no tach, made a total of 4 passes and was done running by 5pm. One of my runs was along side of a 70 superbird!!!!, other than that it was all mustangs and every day drivers
