Test of dedicated timing chain and distributor gear oiler - video

    I rigged up this test setup to check out the dedicated distributor gear and timing chain oiler. It is driven by a cordless drill.

    On a side note, the green pressure relief spring in the V6 oil filter adapter gives about 80 psi.

    Here's a video. There is quite a lot of oil! The orifices are about .027". I think I will downsize them to about .020"

    Very cool. Did the same test for my distributor gear oiler, same tubing. Decided to pinch the end off a bit to reduce flow, and it got me a bonus by providing a fan-shaped spray that covered the entire gear height all at once.
