I can hook you up with an 800 cfm Qjet for that nailhead. I have a few sitting around.

I think Tyler and I will both be there. That's the current plan. All three Buicks are down today, but we should have at least one running by then!!!

    Mark,
Would you email me at scampbell729 at comcast.net and let me know what you have. I may have to do some research on what is the best fit on a nailhead (stock '65 401 with headers). I think there may be some clearance issues with the shallow carb pad on the intake; might have to use a spacer.
    Thanks,
    Steve

A few people have asked why is this event open to all makes and models so I just wanted to let everyone know why.

The LSPBC is made up of mostly (90%) Buick's... yes we are a Buick club but we do have members that don't own a Buick they just like our club, like racing with us or just hanging out with us.

We have a few Mustangs, a Challenger, A G8, Firebirds etc. This event is open to all makes and models so that I do not exclude these LSPBC members that want to come out and race.

I hope this answers everyone's curiosity. :) Thanks

So invite every hotrodder you know. They are all welcome. And besides this gives us some Brand X to beat on! lol

Dangit, I'm not going to make it.

Got the LeSabre out on the road today for the first time in 5 years, and the brakes are leaking down - not that I'm terribly surprised....but it looks like I'll be replacing some hydraulics - at least I have these spiffy new stainless-steel-wrapped brake lines I got for Christmas, this'll be a good time to install them!

Y'all have fun, and be safe!

Parts needed/for sale. I could bring to Temple
I have a set of 4 T Type wheels with center caps, 15x8. 2 of them are painted black in the ribs. $250 for all OBO if anybody could use them.

I NEED 2 adjustable lap belts for my 72 Skylark. Black preferred.

James, sorry you aren't going to make it. So close to getting it all done weren't you.

    Dave,

My wife had surgery two weeks ago. She continues to have issues concerning the surgery. This is the reason I may or may not be there. I have to see how she is doing in the morning. If she feels well I will be there. If not all I can say is Sorry!
