Had a Great time, Good Racing, Good friends, awesome Food. Thanks for puttin the Race on Dave and Terry.
Thank for putting on the race Terry and Dave. Had a great time. Always great to see old friends. Thanks for the grins Rich! Ha ha!
YES! Thanks to Dave and Terry for organizing, thanks to the US131 staff, thanks to Tim C. for the metering rods and Thanks to Jeff S. for the plugs; best of 14.39 at 97.4 for a debut with the big GP! It was a great time and nothing broke! The trip back home was a little harrowing.....storms and idiot Chicago area drivers! If any of you are traveling around Chicago PLEASE be careful and watchful - too many folks are talking or texting and driving. (The term driving is used loosely.)
Can't wait for the results to be posted! Looks like the were some great times run, despite the hot weather.
As always had a wonderful time! Thanks to all who orchestrated this event. To Terry, who helped me remember my car number at the pairings meeting, to Camp Clary for letting us hang, to the McNicols for letting us crash in their room, to Team Canada and New York for sharing food and drink, and to everyone else that made anyone else smile this weekend! I have to say that this is a great group of people. The generosity of food and drink, the willingness to jump in and help out a fellow racer in trouble, and the companionship and laughter of all of you, keep me wanting to come back for more year after year. Thanks all for a great time. Can't wait to see you all again in September!!
Thanks to everyone for a great weekend!! Love seeing everyone and catching up!! As always its such a great group of people that will help you when you need it and push you to go faster when they whip your butt on the track! Had a great time racing you Jason, maybe I can catch you when we get more bugs worked out! The food and drink was wonderful as always, especially the cranberry/scotch and prime rib!! Also now know the next motor vehicle I'm gonna invest in, a moped!! Counting the days til we can do it all again!!! Hope it's a little cooler next time!
Cameron and I both want to add our thanks as well to Dave and Terry. All your hard work resulted in a near trouble free event. Everyone I saw and talked with was smiling and really enjoying themselves. Isn't that what this is all about? We'll see everyone in Stanton. Be there or be square! Thomas
a Big Thanks to the F.A.S.T. guys for another great race. While the weather was a little warm, we dealt with it. I didn't break anything on the car, but I did break something on the truck Sat morning. Thankfully several people helped me out and we got it repaired and had an incident free trip on the way home.
Thanks Dave and Terry for the effort you guys put into this race. I had a great time. This was dads first time attending a F.A.S.T. and F/S event and he was grinning from ear to ear the whole time. I dont think I am going to be able to leave home without him now. Great seeing all my friends and meeting new ones. Cant wait to do it all over again. See you in September :beers2:
Thanks to F.A.S.T for the hard work it takes to put this thing together. We had a great time. Bryan was in charge of driving the little Dust Pan. He had a good time whipping on it some more but I think it's time to step him up to something hotter. I mean it can't do a burn out and it doesn't go sideways. The time out of the car gave me time to wander around and look at stuff and talk to people. I can honestly say I learned a great many things. Can't wait till we can all get together and do it again:Brow:
