My Son, Brother and I were out cruising Saturday night we come across some guys out of town street racing, this Trackhawk was was Beating everyone.
Everyone asked me about the Electra as it looked odd to them, I told him it was my grandfathers. I said I had inherited it and I thought it might be pretty fast so maybe we should run. Of course they thought I was joking .

Heck yeah, I was up there last week! Ran both days out at the strip in Palmer, dad had the El Camino and grudge raced Earl and little bro ran his Firechicken..... Was that after Hot August Nights? Little bro was out there in his psyhedelic Roadrunner and Pops had his Elky there. 20200808_195952.jpg

I think the Trail Hawk ended-up in my shop, running on 7 cylinders, with #6 not contributing to the cause..

The’70 Electra LIMITED is really impressive running low 11’s. I love these kill stories in particular because the Electra usually out weighs the competition. This may give you an idea of what is possible with the Buick engine if the car was 1,000 lbs lighter at around 3,700 lbs!
