Now that I've escaped work for a few days, I managed to finish the `67. I took the car back to the Buick body guy who did all the great work for some paint finishing and it's finally looking like a car. The frist bodyman had to be sued to smithereens to get my money back, but the guy who finished this work was honest and gave real value for the money. If anyone wants the name PM me and I'll send it along. I spent less than 10K US to go from this:
There's a lot of fiberglass in there, but it came out straight! The car was in multiple accidents, and had to have 95% of the previous bodymans work removed, but for a low budget project resto I'm happy with it.
Looks great Clint. :TU: I think I still have his name from when you sent it to me last year. I might need to check with him about my GS, that is if I cannot find a trustworthy local person. Planning to get body and paint done hopefully over winter 06/07.
