OK we are much further along today, drove around for a half hour and everything is checking out good. Looks like we are on schedule this year to leave on time
I am going to make the trip, just wish I had a different car to bring. I'd still like to take my Regal down the track once or twice for fun. I've been wanting to go to the GS Nationals for over a decade so I am pretty excited to check it out.
Showing the tow vehicle some love tonight! Retorqued wheel lug nuts to 140 lb./ft. (all 32 of them), Oil and filter change, lube front end joints, checked fluids, replaced gas cap, and replaced wiper blades. Just need to clean it up inside and out on Monday and it'll be good to go.
Hopefully 140 is right. I just Googled it when I had the front wheels off to lube the ball joints (it's easier with the offset wheels).
My car is far away. I was planning to steal the wife's Lincoln and just go to the show. I ran into a deal i couldn't pass up on a trailer that stole my trip cash. Catch you guys in person for 2023. Hopefully we have a Utah contingent coming for 2023
Had a blast at my first GS Nationals this year. Huge thank you to all who put this awesome event together. Already making plans for next year, with or without the car!
