so im on my way to the mall to get some new shoes. i pull up to a light about to make a left turn. i look up and see a black 05 gt. i see him looking in the mirror. (prolly wondering what the black pod is thats near the ram air sccops are, hood tach). we get a green arrow and he pulls into the middle lane, i pull into the far right lane and get up next to him. i pull the shifter into L and hear him row down through his gears. we are next to each other for about 10-15 seconds then he punches it. im not that big of a fool and dont get into it as there are cars in front of both of us fairly close. he backs off and falls back to me and rolls down his pass window and puts his hands up. i tell him to let the cars get farther ahead. another 10-15 seconds go by and the cars are far enough ahead. i look over and motion to him to go on 3. 1........2........3! we hit it! i get bout a half car jump from the start. i go up through 1st, bang into 2nd, another 1/2-3/4 car length and keep pullin him. cars in front are coming up fast, i throw it into D and he has no chance. i let off and we even out, he looks over kinda shocked and asks "big block?" i nod yes and he throws me the thumbs up. i give it back and turn off as i have missed my turn into the mall. at this point im feeling great as ive just got my car back from a 3 1/2 yr nap in a garage. the carb is way far outta tune and there two huge boxes in the trunk, bout 150 lbs in all.

I got into a similar situation awhile back with my Cadillac (Northstar) . Cruising down the interstate about 65 mph and this kid in a late model Mustang GT runs up on my back bumper ,then backs off and then runs at me again then he went in the lane next to me , gives me this stupid look and motioned like he wanted to run . So I thought what the heck and motioned back to go . He jumped out and I went around him like he was a limp dog . That went on for about 1/4 mile till he got to an exit and changed 3 lanes to get off . That had to hurt , grey headed ole man in a big Caddy kick your a-s
